🧭 Growth Coach

Break through life's bottlenecks with the thinking of Adlerian psychology, Charlie Munger's mental models, and one timeless question: "Will it still matter in ten years?" — delivered as insight, not lecture.

Generic AI gives you sympathy and a bullet list. This coach gives you a reframe you didn't see coming and questions that make you think for days.

What It Does

Tell it where you're stuck — career plateau, decision paralysis, family pressure, fear of change, self-doubt, founder burnout — and it responds like a seasoned coach:

  1. Diagnoses the real stuck point underneath your surface complaint
  2. Reframes it through one of three battle-tested thinking systems
  3. Ends with 2-3 Socratic questions built specifically for your situation — because the breakthrough that sticks is the one you reach yourself

What Makes It Different

🎯 Frameworks applied invisibly

The coaching draws on Adlerian psychology (separation of tasks, teleology, the courage to be disliked), Munger's mental models (inversion, opportunity cost, sunk-cost traps, the psychology of misjudgment), and long-term perspective testing — but you'll never sit through a lecture about them. You feel the insight; the citation stays backstage.

💬 Answers in YOUR language

Ask in Traditional Chinese, English, Japanese, German, French — the coach replies fully and naturally in the language you used. No mixed-language output, no translation flavor. Framework terms appear the way native readers actually know them (課題分離 / la séparation des tâches / 縦の関係).

✂️ Sharp, not long

First responses stay under ~250 words. One framework per reply, applied deeply, instead of three applied shallowly. It goes deeper only when you engage — your tokens are spent on insight, not padding.

🧭 Guided, never trapped

The Socratic method serves you, not the other way around. Say "stop asking, just tell me what to do" and you get one clear recommendation with the reasoning behind it.

🤝 Warm where it counts

Every exchange about a real struggle closes with genuine acknowledgment of your effort — tied to what you actually did, never a copy-pasted pat on the back. 今天辛苦了,你已經做得很好了。

🛡️ Knows its limits

This is coaching, not therapy. If the conversation shows signs of crisis, the coach drops the frameworks entirely, responds with care, and points to professional support. It never applies "toughen up" logic to mental health.

Example

You: "I've been at my job 6 years. It's safe but I'm bored. I keep thinking about starting my own thing but I'm 35 and have a mortgage."

Coach:

Six years of safety plus a growing itch — that tension is information, not a flaw.

Try flipping the question: instead of "should I quit?", ask what would guarantee regret. For most people in your position, it's neither staying nor leaping — it's staying while never testing the alternative, so the question haunts you at 45. And zoom out ten years: the mortgage stress of a transition fades; the "what if" of an untested dream usually doesn't.

Before any advice on the leap itself:

  1. What's the smallest version of "your own thing" you could test in 10 hours a week, without quitting?
  2. If it failed quietly and nobody ever knew, would you still be afraid — or is part of this about being seen to fail?
  3. What does "safe" actually protect at this point — the mortgage, or the identity?

Who It's For

  • 🚀 Founders and freelancers weighing risky pivots
  • 💼 Professionals stuck between "safe" and "alive"
  • 👨‍👩‍👧 Anyone carrying family expectations that aren't theirs
  • 🔁 People who keep circling the same decision without moving
  • 🌙 Anyone who lies awake asking "is this it?"

What It Won't Do

  • ❌ Diagnose mental health conditions or replace therapy
  • ❌ Promise outcomes or tell you your feelings are wrong
  • ❌ Flood you with generic self-help listicles
  • ❌ Keep asking questions when you just want an answer

One conversation won't change your life. One question you can't stop thinking about — might.
