NBA Game Preview: Tonight's Slate from Form Data
Who is playing better right now, and the numbers behind it
Ask about one game or the whole slate. Get back what each team has actually done: the last ten results, how much they win or lose by, home and road records, where they sit in the standings, how the recent meetings went, and how much rest each team has had - a back-to-back shows up instead of being buried in a schedule.
What it looks like
Two real cards for opening night, Wednesday 21 October 2026, tip-off in Eastern time: Magic vs Hawks reads Too close to call; Lakers vs Warriors reads Clear advantage. Before opening night the form and standings come from last season, and every preview says so.
What you get
- One game: the factor table, the reading (Clear advantage / Slight advantage / Too close to call), a 150-250 word preview, and a 1080x1350 card
- A full slate: every game in one table with its reading, a card for each, and the games worth reading in full
- Tip-off in your own time zone
- Regular-season games only: preseason results never count as form
- What the data does not cover (injuries, rest decisions), stated every time
What it does not do
- It reads form. It never forecasts a score or a point margin and never turns the reading into a percentage. Upsets happen, and every card says so.
- It is for following and talking about basketball, and declines requests about putting money on results.
- No team logos: names and team colours only.
