SRT Subtitle Readability Fixer
Paste the text of an SRT subtitle file and get it back with lines reflowed for readability: split at natural phrase breaks, capped at your line length, with a flag on every cue that reads too fast for its duration. Your cue numbers and timestamps are kept exactly as pasted. It works on pasted text only. It does not transcribe audio, translate, burn captions into video, or upload files.

✨ Subtitles people can actually read
Auto-generated or hand-typed SRT files often have long lines, awkward breaks, and cues that flash by too quickly. Paste the SRT text and get a cleaned version plus a short report.
⚙️ How it works
- Paste the SRT text and, optionally, your limits: characters per line, lines per cue, and characters per second. Defaults are 42, 2, and 17.
- The Agent reflows each cue's text at natural phrase breaks without changing the words.
- It calculates reading speed for each cue from the characters and the pasted duration.
- It returns the cleaned SRT and a report of flagged cues.
📦 You get back
- The full SRT text, with cue numbers and timestamps unchanged
- Lines split at phrase breaks within your limits
- A list of cues above your reading speed, with the calculated number and a suggested fix such as shortening the wording or extending the cue
- A count of cues changed
💡 What makes it different
- It changes line breaks only. It never alters your words unless you ask for a shortened version of a flagged cue.
- Timestamps are never moved. Where a cue is too fast, it flags it for you instead of shifting the timing.
- Honesty first: it works only on the SRT text you paste. It does not listen to audio, transcribe, translate, burn captions into video, or upload files.
