T&C Liability Shield
Know what you're agreeing to before you click.
Terms of Service, Privacy Policies and EULAs are too long to read at signup. This skill runs a local, keyless script over the pasted text, finds the clauses that actually matter, tags each as a red flag, favorable, or worth noting, and explains them in plain language with practical, non-legal next steps.
It is a checklist, not a lawyer. It never states whether a clause is enforceable, valid, legal or illegal, and it never predicts a legal outcome.
What it checks (17 categories)
Red flags: mandatory arbitration, class action waivers, auto-renewal / negative option billing, unilateral changes without individual notice, broad data sharing or sale, broad license grabs on user content, liability caps or exclusions, indemnification by the user, and termination at the company's sole discretion.
Worth noting: governing law and venue, data retention or deletion, minimum age / children's data.
Favorable: cancel anytime with no penalty, an arbitration opt-out window, advance notice of material changes, no sale of personal data, and a clear refund policy.
Each finding includes a quoted evidence snippet, the line it came from, and — for red flags — one practical, non-legal step to consider (such as "look for an opt-out clause and its deadline").
How to use it
Paste the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy or EULA text (not a link — this runs locally and makes no network requests). The Agent explains what was found: red flags first, then favorable clauses, then notable items.
What it cannot do
- It is not a lawyer and gives no legal advice. It cannot tell you whether a clause would hold up in court, in any jurisdiction.
- English-only pattern matching over a defined, short list of clause types. A clause worded unusually, or in another language, may not be caught.
- It has no knowledge of current case law or how a specific company actually enforces its terms in practice.
- No network access: it never fetches a URL. Paste the text yourself.
Privacy
This Agent stores nothing and makes no network requests of its own. The document text you paste is read by the AI model running the session; avoid pasting anything beyond the contract text itself.
This is general information, not legal advice, and does not create an attorney-client relationship. For a decision that matters, consult a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.
