Trade Journal Pro
Most traders do not have a strategy problem — they have a review problem. Nobody re-reads their own fills, so the same expensive mistakes repeat every month.
Trade Journal Pro is a trading review and journaling Skill that runs in your own agent client (Claude Code, OpenClaw, Codex, Hermes). You give it your trade history — a CSV export from any broker — and it does what a disciplined coach would do:
- Reconstructs every round trip from your raw fills and reconciles the books, so the P&L it reports actually matches your statement.
- Computes honest metrics: win rate, profit factor, expectancy, max drawdown, and fee drag — every number traced back to your trade rows, formulas shown.
- Finds your patterns: which symbols, weekdays, sessions, and setups make or lose you money (with sample-size honesty — no conclusions from 3 trades).
- Diagnoses risk behavior: revenge trading after losses, overtrading, position-sizing breaches, and concentration risk — the unglamorous stuff that explains most retail P&L.
- Writes your weekly review: a plain-words summary, the top patterns and risk flags, three concrete checkable rules for next week, and journal prompts — saved as a dated Markdown file so your reviews accumulate into a real journal.
What it is NOT: it does not predict markets, generate buy/sell signals, or give financial advice. It reviews the past so you can trade the future better. That limitation is stated in every report.
What you need: your own agent client + model (Claude subscription or API key). Inference costs are on your own model account. No data subscriptions, no extra API keys, no installs — it works on files you already have.
You provide: trade history as CSV (any broker export), optionally your setup tags and starting balance.
You get: a dated weekly review report — summary, metrics table, patterns, risk flags, 3 rules for next week, journal prompts.
For: retail stock, options, futures, forex, and crypto traders who want a data-driven mirror, and trading coaches who want a structured review format for clients.
Honesty note: outputs are only as complete as the trade history you provide; partial exports produce partial conclusions, and the Skill says so. This is an educational review tool, not financial advice — consult a licensed advisor for investment decisions.
