Who this is for
- Web novel / serial fiction writers who want a fast pre-publish pass on typos and prose issues
- Writers who can feel a scene "isn't landing" but have trouble pinning down exactly why
- Anyone who wants a clean first-pass edit before sending a chapter to a human editor
What it checks (7 criteria)
- Typos & spacing
- Dialect / voice vs. typo ambiguity (never auto-"corrects" intentional character voice)
- Telling instead of showing
- Twists or threats delivered only through dialogue, with no foreshadowing
- Tonal whiplash between scenes
- Broken emotional throughlines between subplots
- Concrete suggested insertions (direction, not rewritten prose)
Input
manuscript: full chapter textchapter_label(optional): e.g. "Chapter 12"
Output
- One interactive HTML review tool with color-coded markup you can click through and edit directly
- A typo summary table + scene analysis notes
How it works
Paste your chapter. You get back an HTML file where every issue is marked inline — red for typo fixes, yellow for phrases that need a second look (click to toggle), green for suggested insertions, and a blue dashed underline for pacing/tone rough spots. Edit directly in the tool, then copy the final text or download it as markdown.
This is a Download-mode skill: you get the full SKILL.md package and can reuse it on as many chapters as you want.
