Italian commands work too (/guida, /missione, /trofei…), and Checkpoint always answers in your language.

1. Talk to Hippokrates in Thebes to start the quest.
2. Head northeast towards Snake Head Rock: the survivor is just south of it.
3. Kill the two bears attacking him.
4. Carry the hunter to your horse and bring him back to Hippokrates.

Remembering your progress

Checkpoint: Saved: Margit defeated. Then it shows your next objective, with tips tailored to the build in your profile.

🚀 Setup

Checkpoint has two parts, and you need both: a connector, activated with your license key, and a skill.

1. Add the connector and activate your key

On first connection the Checkpoint activation page opens: paste your key (CHKP-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) and click Activate.

• Claude app: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, paste the address, click Connect.
• Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http checkpoint https://checkpoint-server.simonemarano93.workers.dev/mcp, then type /mcp and authenticate.
• Codex: codex mcp add checkpoint --url https://checkpoint-server.simonemarano93.workers.dev/mcp, then codex mcp login checkpoint.
• Other agents (Cursor, VS Code, etc.): add a remote MCP server (Streamable HTTP) with the address above.
• Agents that only accept local servers: use npx -y mcp-remote https://checkpoint-server.simonemarano93.workers.dev/mcp as the server command (requires Node.js).

2. Install the skill

• Claude app: Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill, then select checkpoint.zip without unzipping it.
• Other agents: unzip and copy the checkpoint folder into your agent's skills folder (e.g. ~/.claude/skills/).
• If your agent doesn't support skills, the connector alone still works.

3. Turn on web search

This is recommended, so answers are verified online and stay up to date.

❓ FAQ

Does it work with any game?
Yes, from blockbusters to indies. For very obscure games there may be less information online, and Checkpoint will tell you when it isn't sure.

Will it spoil the story?
Not unless you want it to. The default spoiler level is none: Checkpoint only reveals what you need and always warns you before any reveal. You can change it with /spoiler.

Do I need an API key or an extra subscription?
No. Checkpoint runs on the agent you already use (Claude, Codex, etc.). You only need your license key.

Can I use it on more than one device?
One key works on one workspace at a time. Connecting it somewhere new deactivates the previous one. You can move it up to 3 times every 30 days.

Which agents are supported?
Any agent that supports remote MCP servers. It's designed and tested with Claude. Answer quality may vary with other models.

Does it remember my progress between chats?
It does in agents that keep files or memory between sessions. Otherwise, use /profile to get a summary you can paste into a new chat.

Are the guides always correct?
Checkpoint verifies information online, but guides can contain errors or become outdated after patches. For critical missable trophies, it's always worth keeping a backup save.
