Premiere Pro Simple Motion Editing
Simple edits in Premiere Pro, with an animation-like look
Turn existing footage and still images into lively, editable sequences inside Adobe Premiere Pro. This English AI skill guides a compatible assistant through clean cuts, sliding panels, gentle zooms, fades, crop reveals, split screens and staggered tile entrances.
The focus is simple editing made to feel animated, with native clips and keyframes you can adjust in Premiere.
What you can make
- Clean cuts with a subtle push-in.
- Panels that slide and fade into place.
- Crop reveals that uncover a shot over time.
- Four independent views arriving in a split-screen layout.
- Nine synchronized fragments assembling into one moving image.
The recipes explain timing in frames, anchor points, position, scale, opacity, crop geometry and final holds. They also cover keeping the soundtrack only once, preserving the rest of the timeline and checking the result before delivery.
Included in the download
- A ready-to-install SKILL.md and assistant metadata.
- English installation and native-editing instructions.
- Five practical motion-editing recipes with concrete control values.
- An optional Python grid-planning helper and sample JSON cue sheet.
The helper calculates a single-source tile assembly. It produces a plan to apply in Premiere; its JSON is not a Premiere import format.
Requirements
You need Adobe Premiere Pro, your own media, and an AI assistant that can read or install folder-based skills. Direct operation also requires that assistant to have native desktop-control tools and access to your Premiere session. Browser-only chat can provide the guided instructions, but cannot edit the desktop project by itself.
Python 3.10 or later is needed only for the optional planning helper; it uses the standard library. The included recipes do not require After Effects or an AI video-generation subscription. Interface names and Crop behavior should be checked in your installed Premiere version before copying a multi-layer setup.
This download contains workflow instructions and a planning helper. It does not include a Premiere license, plug-in, desktop-control bridge, stock footage or client projects. Automatic editing depends on your assistant host's capabilities.
Try a request
Use $premiere-simple-motion. Make an eight-second four-way split screen in my Premiere Pro sequence. Slide the four views into place during the first 1.5 seconds, keep the existing music once, and leave every clip editable. If desktop control is unavailable, give me the exact frame and control values.
