CashGuard 13W

Receivables & Cash Risk Auditor

Turn exported accounting data into a prioritized, verifiable collections plan and an auditable 13-week cash-exposure view.

What CashGuard 13W does

  • Audits open receivables and separates overdue from upcoming balances.
  • Matches positive bank receipts only when a unique invoice reference is explicitly present.
  • Supports partial payments and flags ambiguous references, currency mismatches and overpayments for human review.
  • Produces a ranked collections action queue without sending messages automatically.
  • Maps contractual cash exposure across 13 weeks by currency.
  • Compares a documented base case with an illustrative stress scenario.
  • Preserves an evidence trail so calculations can be reviewed and reproduced.

Who it is for

  • Founders and SME owners preparing weekly cash reviews.
  • Controllers auditing open invoices before collections meetings.
  • Bookkeepers investigating unapplied receipts.
  • Fractional CFOs building a cautious short-term cash view.
  • Finance teams that need transparent calculations instead of opaque scoring.

Inputs

CashGuard 13W works with CSV exports. Excel users can export their data as CSV UTF-8.

Required:

  • Accounts receivable CSV.
  • An explicit as-of date.

Optional:

  • Accounts payable CSV.
  • Bank-transactions CSV.
  • Verified starting cash balance by currency.

No bank login, API key or direct account access is required. Customer names can be replaced with internal IDs before use.

Deliverables

The package generates five reviewable files:

  1. REPORT.md — executive findings, coverage, assumptions, exclusions and limitations.
  2. ACTION_QUEUE.csv — ranked follow-up priorities for open receivables.
  3. MATCHED_RECEIPTS.csv — explicit-reference candidate matches for ledger review.
  4. UNAPPLIED_BANK_RECEIPTS.csv — positive bank entries requiring investigation.
  5. CASH_13W.csv — base and stress exposure by week and currency.

How it works

  1. Select an as-of date and provide the receivables export.
  2. Add payables, bank transactions and starting cash when available.
  3. Run the included deterministic Python engine.
  4. Review exclusions, exceptions and match candidates.
  5. Use the generated queue and 13-week schedule to guide human decisions.

The base scenario places open receivables on their due dates, or in week one when already overdue. The stress scenario excludes already-overdue receivables and delays not-yet-due receivables by 14 days. These assumptions are illustrative and fully disclosed; they are not payment predictions.

Example requests

  • "Audit my unpaid invoices and show the top 10 collection priorities."
  • "Which bank credits cannot be linked to a unique invoice reference?"
  • "Build a 13-week cash exposure using my AR, AP and bank CSV files."
  • "Draft polite reminders for the highest-priority invoices, but do not send them."

Requirements

  • Python 3.9 or later.
  • No additional packages to install.
  • No external API subscription.
  • No outbound network request from the packaged engine.

The download includes the Skill instructions, deterministic audit script, tests, sample data, documentation and control references.

Privacy and safety

The engine runs locally and writes only to the output folder selected by the user. It does not connect to bank accounts, send collection emails, trigger payments or share source data with external services. Use anonymized sample data when demonstrating the Skill publicly.

Important limitations

CashGuard 13W is a decision-support tool, not a statutory audit, legal opinion, tax opinion, credit score or guarantee of collection. Bank matches are candidates based on explicit invoice references and require ledger review. Amounts in different currencies are never combined without an explicit exchange-rate process. Missing payroll, tax, financing or other obligations mean the output must not be presented as a complete treasury forecast.
