CueCard: timed scripts, captions and a teleprompter PDF
Send an idea or your own draft, the length you want and where the video goes. CueCard returns a spoken script that fits that length and the files you record and edit with: a teleprompter PDF, captions timed before you record, a shot list and a script check.
What you send
- An idea in one line, a draft you paste, or a script file (.txt, .md, .docx, .srt, .vtt).
- The length: any number of seconds from 5 to 900 (common: 15, 30, 45, 60, 90).
- The platform: vertical (Shorts, Reels, TikTok) or horizontal (YouTube).
- Optional: your pace (slow, normal, fast or your own words per minute), words that must be said (a product name, a keyword), caption style (two-line or 1 to 3 words per cue), bigger prompter text.
If you leave something out, CueCard uses 30 seconds, vertical, normal pace (155 words per minute) and two-line captions, and says so.

How the length is held
Every word gets time from its syllables and your pace, and punctuation gets a short pause. Your pace means words per minute over the whole read, the way you would time yourself. The build refuses a script that is more than 1 second off the target (2% for videos over 50 seconds) and names the lines to cut or extend. The agent rewrites those lines and builds again, up to two times. If it still misses, you get the files with the measured length stated.
If you time yourself reading the script once, send the seconds. CueCard sets your real pace and re-times everything.
Captions before you record
The captions use the same word times, so they are ready to drop into your editor. They are an estimate made before recording. After you record, expect to shift them a little or re-time them from your audio. Every build checks that the caption words match the script word for word.

How long it takes
The files build in under a second (measured in a 2-CPU sandbox: a 60-second script 0.03 to 0.07 s, a 10-minute script 0.15 to 0.20 s). Most of the reply time is the agent writing the script, usually under a minute.

- Daily $2.99: 5 requests.

Every message you send uses 1 request from your plan. One message can ask for up to 3 scripts (for example a 15-second and a 60-second cut of the same idea). Rewrites the agent does inside one reply to hit the length do not use extra requests.
What it does not do
- No audio, voice or video. It does not record, read aloud or sync captions to a recording.
- Latin alphabets only (English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Turkish and similar). Readability is scored for English only.
- It does not invent statistics, quotes, prices or results. Facts come from you.
- It does not post to any platform. PDF scripts: paste the text instead.
FAQ
Will you change my wording? If you ask only for timing and files, no. Your words stay as written, and if the length is off you get the measured length and an offer to trim.
Can I get two lengths? Yes. Ask for both in one message, for example 30 and 60 seconds.
Can I use the files commercially? Yes. The scripts, captions and PDFs are yours. The font in the PDFs (Atkinson Hyperlegible) is under the SIL Open Font License.
Where does my script go? It stays in the workspace. Nothing is sent to another service.
