What StockHammer does

  • Deep dive on a ticker: computed indicators (RSI, MACD, moving averages, ATR, ADX, Bollinger, Ichimoku, stochastic), candlestick patterns, weekly multi-timeframe confirmation, relative strength, fundamentals and news context — combined into an explainable 0-100 score with every sub-score visible.
  • Daily radar: a sorted table of computed evidence indexes across a market, with the factor readings behind each number.
  • Comparison between two assets, with computed correlations — including session-aware alignment when the two trade in different time zones.
  • Risk snapshot: annualized volatility, maximum and current drawdown, historical Sharpe and Sortino, historical VaR, 52-week distance, beta versus benchmark.
  • Options-chain snapshots, for education on how a chain is read.

Markets covered

  • Asia: Tokyo (JPX), Singapore (SGX), Hong Kong (HKEX), Korea (KOSPI and KOSDAQ), Taiwan (TWSE), Shanghai and Shenzhen, NSE and BSE India.
  • Americas and Europe: US, Toronto, London, Euronext, Xetra, Borsa Italiana, SIX and more. Gulf: Tadawul.
  • Commodities, precious metals and forex pairs.
  • Local index, currency and trading calendar handled per exchange: Lunar New Year, Golden Week and Singapore's mixed holiday calendar are accounted for, so a stale bar is never presented as today's close.

How it is built

  • Every figure comes from data actually downloaded and computed by scripts. Nothing is estimated, and what could not be obtained is stated plainly rather than filled in.
  • The composite score shows its sub-scores and their weights, so the arithmetic on the page can be checked.
  • Each analysis can be produced as a self-contained HTML report with charts embedded — readable offline, printable to PDF.
  • Answers in 12 languages, including Japanese, Korean, Chinese and Italian.

Limits, stated up front

  • Informational and educational only. Not financial advice.
  • No buy or sell recommendations, no price targets, no stop-loss levels, no position sizing.
  • All statistics are historical and descriptive: they describe what happened, never what will happen.

FAQ

Does it tell me what to buy?
No. StockHammer describes what the data shows and how each factor scores, so you can reach your own conclusion. It does not give recommendations, price targets or position sizes, and it will decline if asked — including when the request is framed as hypothetical or educational.

Where does the data come from?
Prices and volumes are downloaded from market data providers and computed locally; fundamentals and news come from public sources cited in the answer. If a source cannot be reached, the analysis says so instead of estimating.

Which markets are covered?
Asia (Tokyo, Singapore, Hong Kong, Seoul, Taipei, Shanghai, Shenzhen, India), the US and Canada, the main European exchanges, the Gulf, plus commodities, metals and forex. Use the local ticker with its exchange suffix — 005930.KS, 2330.TW, D05.SI, 7203.T, ENI.MI.

What does the 0-100 score mean?
It summarises how many factors currently point in the same direction, with each sub-score and its weight shown. It is a description of the present evidence, not a forecast and not a rating.

Why does it sometimes say a value is n/a?
Because that input could not be obtained this session. Unmeasured factors are excluded from the total rather than guessed, and the answer says which ones were missing.

Can I compare two stocks from different exchanges?
Yes. When the two trade in different time zones, the correlation is also computed by pairing each bar with the last bar the other market had already closed — which removes the artificial gap caused by non-overlapping sessions.

Can I get a document to keep?
Yes. A deep dive produces a self-contained HTML report with the charts embedded: it opens offline in any browser and prints to PDF.

Which languages does it answer in?
Twelve, including English, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Italian, Spanish, French and German. It replies in the language you write in.
