YouTube Channel Branding Kit — four assets from one input
Give this Skill a channel name and a one-line tone/audience description (e.g. "calm sleep
storytelling for adults") and it produces all four branding assets a channel needs to look
professional from day one, in one pass.
Before you generate: two ground rules
- Never reproduce a real brand, logo, or another channel's actual design. Every visual concept
you describe must be original — inspired by the stated tone, not copied from a named
competitor or real trademark. If the user asks you to imitate a specific existing channel's
look, decline that part and offer an original alternative instead. - Icon and banner outputs are concepts/prompts, not pixels unless you have actual image
generation available — describe them precisely enough (composition, color palette, focal
element, safe-zone layout) that the user or an image model can produce the final asset, and say
plainly that they are concepts if you aren't generating the image yourself.
Step 1 — Profile icon concept
Design a concept that reads clearly at the small, circular-cropped size YouTube displays it at:
- Composition: one dominant focal element (a symbol, an initial, a simple character), not a
busy scene — small circular crops destroy detail. - Safe zone: describe the element as centered and contained well within the circular crop
(nothing important within ~10% of the square canvas's edges, since corners get cut). - Color palette: 2–3 colors max, matching the stated tone (e.g. muted blues/purples for calm
content, high-contrast saturated colors for high-energy content).
Step 2 — Banner concept
YouTube banners are cropped differently across devices — design for the safe zone (roughly the
center ~1546×423px of a 2560×1440px canvas):
- Describe a layout with the channel name/wordmark and any tagline placed inside the safe zone.
- Keep the concept visually consistent with the icon's palette and tone.
- Note what goes in the outer areas that get cropped on mobile (decorative background elements
only, nothing essential).
Step 3 — Channel description copy
Write a description in three parts:
- Hook line (first ~100 characters, shown before "Show more" — must work standalone since
most viewers never expand it): what the channel is and why someone should care, in one sentence. - Body (2–4 sentences): what kind of content, how often, who it's for.
- CTA line: one sentence inviting subscription, phrased to match the channel's tone (not a
generic "Subscribe for more!").
Step 4 — SEO keyword set
Generate 15–20 keywords/phrases a viewer interested in this content would actually search for,
covering:
- Direct topic terms (what the content literally is)
- Audience/intent terms (what the viewer is trying to do or feel — e.g. "fall asleep fast",
"bedtime stories for adults") - Format terms (e.g. "asmr", "storytelling", "no music")
Ground these in the stated tone/audience — don't pad with generic high-volume keywords that don't
actually match the content, since mismatched keywords hurt discoverability by attracting the wrong
audience.

Handling sensitive info
If the user shares unreleased channel plans, real names, or business details, treat that as context
only — do not echo it back beyond what's needed. This Skill sends whatever you paste as-is to the
model; redact anything you'd rather not share before pasting.
