Work is coming in. Money isn't.

Freelancers rarely go under because they didn't earn enough. They go under in the gap: you do the work, you invoice, the client pays late, and the money lands one to three months after you finished — while your fixed costs arrive every month.

What you get

What you get

  • Monthly cash flow: unpaid invoices, project milestones, monthly retainers and deals still in the pipeline, each placed on a timeline using your payment terms and how late each client usually pays. See what's left at the end of every month for the next 3 to 12 months, and which months fall below your safety line. Every amount is weighted by the odds of getting paid.
  • Aging and days-to-get-paid: how long each unpaid amount has been outstanding, and how many days it really takes from invoice to money in hand.
  • Who to chase first: a ranked list scored on size, days overdue and how reliably that client pays, each with a suggested next step.
  • Four fixes compared: take a 30% deposit, cut terms from 30 days to 15, chase from day one, or trim fixed costs by 10% — and what each does to your lowest cash point, your closing cash and the number of months below the line.

Who to chase first

Who it's for

Freelance designers, developers, translators, photographers, consultants and one-person studios — anyone paid per project instead of per month. Any country, any currency.

How to use

  1. Download from Capafy — you get a zip file (no need to unzip).
  2. In Claude, turn on code execution, then upload the zip under Settings → Skills. (Claude Code users: unzip into ~/.claude/skills/.)
  3. Describe your situation in plain English. Claude asks for the numbers it needs, runs the model, and walks you through the results.

Output and language

Claude explains the results in your language. The Excel workbook and written report are currently labeled in Traditional Chinese; English labels are planned for a future version.

Privacy

Runs locally in your own Claude environment. No external connections, no API keys, and your numbers never leave your machine.

Requirements

A Claude environment that can run Python (e.g. Claude Code, or Claude with code execution enabled). Uses openpyxl; Claude can install it on first run.

Disclaimer

Payment timing and amounts are estimates based on your assumptions and don't mean the money will arrive; taxes, insurance, late-payment interest and contract terms follow local law and your actual contracts.
