Coloring pages drawn by math

Every page is drawn by geometry code from its own random seed: no image model, no per-image credits, no AI artwork to declare for the designs. Change the seed and you get a new set.

  • Mandalas: layered rings of petals, lotus leaves, scallops, beads, crowns, leaves and spokes around a center flower, with 8- to 48-fold symmetry
  • Patterns: curvy Truchet tiles, hexagon stars, fish scales, kaleidoscope square tiles, triangle mosaics, framed edge to edge
  • Levels: simple (3 pt lines and big shapes for kids), medium, detailed (1.3 pt lines and more rings for adults); lines never thinner than KDP's 0.75 pt

The book

  • Title page, "This book belongs to" page, color-test page
  • Single-sided layout: each design on a right-hand page with a blank back, so markers don't ruin the next design (or print both sides)
  • KDP paperback interior for any of the 16 trims, gutter for the final page count, even page count, embedded font, PDF pre-flight check, spine width, cover size, cover guide image and KDP checklist
  • Or Letter/A4 printable PDF plus every design as a 300 DPI PNG for Etsy or classroom packs
  • A page list with each design's style and seed, so you can rebuild or replace any page

Works with

Python 3.8+ with pip install reportlab pypdf pillow pypdfium2. Windows, macOS, Linux. No API key, no account, no internet.

Good to know

  • Mandalas and geometric patterns only: no animals, people or scenes.
  • Look at the proof image before publishing; some random combinations are busier than others, and a new seed fixes that.
  • KDP lists coloring books as not low-content, and lists excessive blank pages as a common point of failure: say "single-sided pages" in your description. It does not upload or publish.
