I build analysis skills for the two things I do every day: researching Japanese equities, and growing a niche account on X. These come out of daily practice, not theory. I publish market commentary and small-cap research, so I need the same analysis every session — decomposing which stocks actually moved the index, measuring where capital is concentrating, tracking headcount trends from securities filings. What they do differently: they separate how an index looks from where money is actually going, and they refuse to conflate trading value with capital inflow. A small distinction that changes conclusions. The X skills come from the same place — measuring what actually grew a small account, including the stretch where it stopped working. Best for: investors who want the reasoning behind a headline number, and creators building a niche audience. Market-related output is informational only, not investment advice.

X Reply Targeting: Borrowed Reach That Converts

Replies grow a small account faster than posting, because you borrow someone else's reach. You get: - Accounts worth replying to: active within the hour, larger than you, not already following you - Spam filtered by rule: ranking bots, DM solicitation, follow-for-follow, AI report mills - A drafted reply for each: their point, your data, your read What it will not write: one-line filler, or replies ending in a question to farm engagement. Both get ignored and both read as automated.

Market Calendar Edge: Expiry, Rebalance, Buybacks

Markets do have rhythm, but it comes from deadlines, not the moon. Maps the calendar forces that distort supply and demand: options expiry, index rebalancing, month and quarter-end pension flows, ex-dividend dates, earnings clusters, and US buyback blackouts, when the largest buyer vanishes for weeks. Two uses: find real rhythm, and strip calendar noise from flow analysis so a spike is not mistaken for a trend. Anomalies with no causal mechanism get rejected, lunar cycles included.

Money Flow Quadrants: Real vs Fragile Rallies

Which sectors truly attract capital, and which rise only because nobody sells. Method: sector trading-value share divided by market-cap share, crossed against price. Up + up = real inflow Up + down = capitulation Down + up = fragile, no new money Down + down = abandoned Quadrant three is the edge: most watch price alone and mistake fragile rallies for real. One rule it will not break: trading value is not inflow. Every trade has two sides. Real net flow shows only in investor-type data.

Nikkei Decoder | What Moved the Index Today
