Find Founders, Funding & Contacts for Any Startup

See an interesting startup and want to know who's behind it, who funded it, and how to reach them? Drop in a name, link, or article — Skill scans LinkedIn, X, Crunchbase, TechCrunch, GitHub, and tech media, then returns a 5-section briefing: what they do, full funding history, founder backgrounds (education + career trail), and verified contacts (no guessed emails).

From product to founder to funding to contact — in one search

You just saw an impressive product. Or you're heading into a meeting with a startup in 20 minutes. Or you found an article about a company and need to figure out who to email.

The web has the answers. They're just scattered across LinkedIn, Crunchbase, TechCrunch, GitHub, Twitter, and a dozen tech blogs. Stitching them together by hand takes an hour. This skill does it in two minutes.

What you get

A 5-section briefing returned right in chat:

  1. Project Name + Website
  2. Overview — what the company actually does, in two sentences
  3. Funding History — full timeline (seed → A → B → ...) with rounds, amounts, lead/follow investors, and dates
  4. Team — founder + core team backgrounds, each member's education + complete career trail + notable achievements
  5. Contacts — verified LinkedIn, X/Twitter, GitHub, email, plus company-level handles

What makes it different

  • No guessed emails. Every contact comes from a real public page. We will never output [email protected] based on pattern matching.
  • Team backgrounds are real bios. Each founder gets 80-150 chars covering education, multiple roles, and notable achievements — not "CEO, leads strategy".
  • Complete funding history. If a company raised seed, A, and B, all three rounds are stitched into one timeline.
  • Honest when data is missing. Empty fields are omitted, never padded with "limited info available".

FAQ

Q: How accurate is the data?
A: Every fact is sourced from public web pages. Low-confidence findings are dropped, not output.

Q: Why no guessed emails?
A: Guessed emails bounce, harm your sender reputation, and look unprofessional. If we can't find a verified email, we omit the row.

Q: What about Chinese startups?
A: Fully supported. The skill searches 36Kr, Huxiu, QbitAI, IT Juzi, Maimai, and WeChat Official Accounts for Chinese-language sources.

Q: What if there's no public team info?
A: The team section will say "no public team information available", and contacts will only list company-level channels.

Q: Does it write to a file?
A: No. The output is returned directly in chat in a fixed 5-section format you can copy-paste anywhere.

Tips for best results

  • Include the company website if you have it — gives the skill a confirmed anchor and speeds up the first pass
  • Common founder names (王伟, John Smith) are cross-verified via previous company / school to avoid identity collision
  • For deeper diligence, pair with product-review-research to see both team credibility and market reception in one sitting
