When a US public company has to tell the market something before its next quarterly report, it files an 8-K — and it checks a numbered item code saying what kind of event it was. Item 2.02 is results. Item 5.02 is an officer or director change. Item 1.05 is a material cybersecurity incident.

8-K Event Radar reads those filings from EDGAR's public endpoints, groups them by item code, and gives you two things: a self-contained HTML dashboard for today or the past week, and short answers to questions about a specific ticker or a watchlist.

The classification is not a model's opinion about what matters, and it is not one account's take on a headline. It is the code the filer itself selected on the form. Every filing on the dashboard links back to the original document on EDGAR.

What you can ask for:

  • A dashboard of everything filed today or over the past week
  • One item code at a time — just the earnings releases, just the officer changes
  • What a given ticker has filed recently
  • A watchlist view, with your tickers sorted to the top

What it does not do:
No buy or sell calls, no price targets, no predictions, no scores. It reports what was filed, when, under which item code, with a link.
