Export one Instagram Reel/video post you own or are authorized to download, or an authorized local MP4/MOV or Matroska/WebM video. Create H.264 MP4 at a 480p short-edge or 2K long-edge cap, without upscaling. Optional local Whisper small produces timestamped TXT and plain text. The research-note template is blank, not automatic shot analysis or script writing.

Verified scope and setup

Apple Silicon Mac, macOS 27.0, Python 3.13.7. Requires Python, appropriate ffmpeg and first-time dependency setup. Readable source, bilingual README and tested dependency snapshot are included. Clean isolated installation, 23 regression tests, original spoken fixture, authorized creator-owned public Reel download-to-transcript and explicit unpacked-Skill use in the current Codex task passed. Other OS/Intel Macs, other Clients, automatic discovery, independent buyer accounts, Capafy checkout and Run were not integration-tested.

The small model is about 460 MiB and not bundled; acceptance reused a verified cache, not a fresh model download. First loading can take minutes. Scripts require no paid transcription API; your Agent Client may have separate access, charges and data policies.

Limits, rights and data

One video at a time, source up to 500 MiB; OS cap is per output file, not total folder size. No browser cookies/login, batches, Stories, carousels, live streams, translation, Simplified/Traditional conversion or subtitle burning. Instagram may change, rate-limit or require login; not every public Reel is downloadable. Restrictions stop the job and are not bypassed. Only use your own or authorized content; purchase grants no rights to republish others' media.

Review transcripts, especially names/brands. A Chinese brand was wrong in a real test; Chinese output may use Simplified characters. Media stays on the execution machine, with no author-operated upload endpoint. Setup contacts PyPI; explicit model retrieval contacts Hugging Face; URL mode contacts Instagram/CDNs. Your Client's model/data flow is separate. Single-user local tool; custom installation and content-analysis services are not included.

一次一支、來源最多500MiB，寫入上限為每檔，不是整個資料夾。不讀cookies、不提供登入、批次、Stories、輪播、直播、翻譯、簡繁轉換或燒錄字幕。不保證任意公開IG皆可下載，遇限制停止，不繞過。只用自有／授權影片，購買不授予他人重發權。

逐字稿須校對，中文品牌名實測有誤，也可能輸出簡體。媒體留在執行機器，無作者上傳端點；安裝／模型取得／URL模式分別連PyPI、Hugging Face、Instagram/CDN，Client本身資料流另依其設定。限單一使用者本機工具，不含客製安裝或內容分析服務。
