Big decisions stall because the options stay fuzzy, the criteria stay unspoken, and one loud worry drowns out everything else.

A naive 'help me decide' prompt lists pros and cons — then quietly makes the choice for you. That's not help, that's abdication.

Decision Matrix Coach keeps the decision yours. It runs your choice through seven stages:

  1. Clarify the real question. Most decisions are actually three decisions tangled together. The skill separates them.

  2. Surface every option. Including the do nothing option everyone forgets, and at least one hybrid you haven't considered.

  3. Weight your criteria. Your values become explicit numbers. Career growth vs. work-life balance vs. compensation — you decide what matters and how much.

  4. Score in the open. Every option gets scored against every criterion. No black box.

  5. Expose hidden downsides. The skill digs for risks hiding behind each option's upsides.

  6. Pre-mortem. Assume your choice failed spectacularly. Work backward: what went wrong?

  7. Reversibility and commitment. How hard is each path to undo? Ends with a commit-by date plus reversal trigger.

What makes this different: The AI explains tradeoffs, never delivers a verdict. Criteria are weighted explicitly with visible math. The do nothing option is forced onto the table. Ends with action, not analysis paralysis.

How it works: Describe your decision. The skill lists options, helps you weight criteria, scores each option 1-5, runs sensitivity analysis (ROBUST or FRAGILE), conducts a pre-mortem, and creates a commitment plan.

Who it's for: Anyone facing a high-stakes choice — job changes, moves, major purchases, business pivots.

What you get: Weighted scorecard with rankings, sensitivity analysis, pre-mortem findings, reversibility ratings, and a commitment plan with deadline.
