One file. Works offline. Arrives with your details already on the document.

Tell it what your business is and how you bill. You get back a single HTML file - not a template to fill in, not a web app to sign up for. Double-click it and your business name, address, contact, payment details, registration number, logo, currency, tax rates and payment terms are already there.

What it does

The same line items make either a quote or an invoice, and a quote becomes an invoice in one click with a fresh number. Numbering runs itself in QUO-2026-001 / INV-2026-001 form, counted separately per document type, and you can overwrite any number by hand when you need to.

Clients and line items you use often are saved once and picked from a list, so a repeat invoice is three clicks rather than a page of retyping.

Tax is handled per line. Choose a rate on each row, and the document shows net and tax grouped by rate rather than one lump sum - the layout you need when two rates appear on the same document. Prices can be entered tax-inclusive or tax-exclusive, and the rounding method is a setting you can see and change.

Payment terms are a rule, not a date you calculate. Pick "end of next month", "net 30", "net 14" or "end of month" and the due date fills itself in from the issue date.

Printing uses a real print stylesheet sized for A4, not a screenshot of the screen. The buttons, tabs and input borders disappear, and what prints is the document. A typical eight-line invoice fits one sheet.

Everything you issue is kept in a searchable list - by number, by client, by date range - with a paid/unpaid flag on invoices. Export the whole dataset as JSON for backup or to move to another machine, and export the issued documents as CSV for your accountant or your spreadsheet.

What it does not do

It is not accounting software. There is no bookkeeping, no bank connection, no automatic payment reconciliation, no expense tracking and no tax filing. It does not take card payments. It does not decide your tax treatment - you choose the rates, and it arranges and totals what you tell it. If you already run QuickBooks, Xero, Wave or FreshBooks, you do not need this.

It is single-user by design: one file, one person, one machine, no sync and no shared server. Data moves between devices through Export and Import.

On your data

The generated file makes no network requests at all - no CDN, no fonts, no analytics, no fetch. Your invoices, clients and prices stay in your browser on your own machine. Nothing is uploaded anywhere, including to us.

Because storage is local to that file and that browser, clearing browser data deletes your records. Export JSON is the backup, and it is the only copy that survives.

Only the details you provide go into the file. Amounts, client names and registration numbers are never invented to look plausible - anything you leave out stays blank.

Not tax or legal advice

This builds document templates. Whether a document satisfies the rules that apply to your business, your registration status and your customers is a question for your tax authority or your accountant. Check before you send anything.
