Personal Database App Builder: Describe, Get App
I build small personal productivity tools and repeatedly needed a quick way to track data (books, inventory, expenses, habits) without a server or database. This skill packages that pattern: a reusable HTML/JS template (table, add/edit form, search/filter, chart, JSON/CSV export-import, localStorage) plus a workflow that adapts the template's fields to whatever the user describes in plain language. Output is a single offline HTML file, no account, API key, or server.

Tell it what you want to keep track of - books, inventory, clients, expenses, habits, recipes, anything - and get back one HTML file that is your own private database app.
Double-click the file and it opens in any browser. You get:
- a sortable table of your records
- an add/edit form built from your fields (numbers, dates, dropdowns, checkboxes, long text)
- search and per-field filters
- a chart view (bar / pie / line)
- Export / Import as JSON and CSV so you always own your data
Everything runs offline. No installation, no server, no account, no subscription, no code. Your records are saved locally in your browser and can be exported to a plain file any time.
This is a reusable app-generation workflow, not one fixed template - describe a different tracker and you get a different app.
What you receive:
- The generation skill that turns a plain-language request into a finished single-file app.
- A proven, self-contained reference app template (table + form + search + filters + chart + export/import) the generator adapts to your fields.
Good for: personal trackers and small-team lists where one working offline file beats a heavyweight cloud database.
Honest limits:
- Personal / small-team use, not a multi-user cloud DB; no automatic sync between people. Move data between devices via Export / Import.
- Local-storage data is tied to the file and browser, so Export is your backup.
- No API key, no online account, no personal data shared.
Runs on a Sonnet-class host (Sonnet 4.6).
