Soccer Analytics Guard

Soccer Analytics Guard is a Download skill for auditing soccer analysis before conclusions are trusted.

It helps an AI agent check whether player, team, manager, transfer, and tactical claims are supported by usable evidence. The goal is not to guarantee outcomes or tell users what real-world decision to make. The goal is to separate verified facts, dated statistics, tactical interpretation, hypotheses, and missing evidence.

What It Checks

  • Source tier: official, established data source, corroborating public source, or lead-only material
  • Date and season freshness: every current claim needs a season, date, or match window
  • Competition boundary: league, cup, continental, international, friendly, and youth/reserve data are kept separate
  • Sample size: per-90 player claims require at least 450 minutes in the relevant window
  • Availability context: injury, suspension, return from injury, fixture congestion, international duty, and transfer status
  • Claim labels: verified, source needed, stale data, small sample, adaptation period, or speculation

Why It Helps

Soccer analysis often sounds confident even when the evidence is weak. A player may have too few minutes for a stable per-90 comparison. A statistic may mix league and cup data. A current-form claim may rely on an old season. A transfer or injury note may come from an unsupported post.

This skill forces the agent to pause before making conclusions and ask:

  • What source supports this?
  • Is the source recent enough?
  • Which competition does the data cover?
  • Is the sample large enough?
  • What remains uncertain?

Output Structure

The skill guides the agent to produce:

  • Scope
  • Evidence table
  • Data quality flags
  • Analysis
  • Hypothesis
  • Required follow-up
