Turn long-form content into smarter short-form opportunities.

Clip Intelligence helps creators, streamers, and podcasters identify moments worth turning into short-form content. Instead of returning only a handful of highlights, it builds a broader opportunity map, evaluates candidates, ranks the strongest moments, and provides practical editing guidance.

The goal is to help you discover more potential clips from the content you already create—without treating every moment as equally valuable or promising virality.

What it does

  • Broad opportunity discovery: Search the analyzed source for plausible clip opportunities before ranking them. Discovery is not limited to five candidates.
  • Ranked recommendations: Receive up to five primary recommendations by default, with detailed Creator-Ready Clip Packages.
  • Alternative opportunities: Review other distinct, credible moments in a compact inventory, including lower-priority opportunities that may still be worth editing.
  • Timestamp guidance: Identify suggested start and end points, duration, and alternative shorter boundaries.
  • Hook and payoff analysis: Understand what makes each moment interesting, useful, surprising, funny, or emotionally engaging.
  • Editing guidance: Get suggestions for pacing, subtitles, reactions, emphasis, and other edits supported by the available evidence.
  • Evidence transparency: Distinguish transcript evidence, observed video evidence, inference, and unverified details.
  • Source coverage reporting: Identify analyzed time ranges, processing gaps, candidate counts, and duplicate moments when that information is available.

Seven opportunity types

Clip Intelligence looks beyond jokes and obvious highlights.

Opportunity type What it looks for
Comedy Punchlines, funny reactions, absurd situations, and comedic timing
Personality Opinions, preferences, habits, distinctive reactions, and creator identity
Gameplay Progression Unlocks, milestones, rewards, new abilities, discoveries, and meaningful progress
Curiosity Mysteries, surprising questions, unexplained events, and open loops
Story Conflict, escalation, stakes, reversals, and compact narrative arcs
Community Competitions, choices, debates, audience participation, and comment-worthy moments
Discovery Useful tips, surprising facts, mechanics, comparisons, and new information

A strong clip does not need to be funny. A discovery, a memorable opinion, a meaningful gameplay milestone, or a compelling story can also be a good opportunity.

How the analysis works

  1. Source and scope: Establish what content is actually available for analysis and what evidence can be inspected.
  2. Opportunity discovery: Build a broad pool of plausible moments across the covered source.
  3. Classification and evaluation: Identify each opportunity type, assess its evidence, and evaluate its editorial potential.
  4. Quality checks: Review context dependency, standalone clarity, duplicate moments, boundaries, and the strength of the hook or payoff.
  5. Ranking: Select the strongest primary recommendations without filling the list with weak candidates just to reach a quota.
  6. Opportunity inventory: Present other distinct, credible candidates as alternatives or low-priority opportunities, with concise explanations.
  7. Creator-ready packaging: Prepare detailed editing briefs for the primary recommendations.

The five-recommendation default limits the number of fully packaged primary clips—not the discovery process or the alternative inventory.

Creator-Ready Clip Packages

Each primary recommendation can include:

  • Suggested title: A specific, source-grounded title.
  • Opening hook: A source-grounded quote or a clearly labeled editorial suggestion.
  • Caption draft: Platform-neutral or adapted to the platform you specify.
  • Hashtags: Optional and relevant to the content.
  • Editing plan: Practical notes about boundaries, pacing, subtitles, reactions, and emphasis.
  • Packaging rationale: Why the presentation supports the moment's actual value.

Each recommendation also includes its timestamp, duration, opportunity type, score where supported by the evidence, confidence level, standalone clarity, required context, payoff or open loop, boundary reasoning, and evidence notes.

These packages are editing briefs. They do not represent rendered or exported video files.

Creator Goal Modes

Specify your goal to guide how opportunities are prioritized.

  • Balanced Discovery: A balanced view of the opportunity types supported by the source. This is the default.
  • Growth / Discovery: Emphasizes accessible hooks, novelty, and moments that can make sense to new viewers.
  • Community: Emphasizes opinions, choices, competitions, debates, and audience participation.
  • Personality / Connection: Emphasizes distinctive reactions, preferences, habits, storytelling, and creator voice.
  • Evergreen / Value: Emphasizes useful discoveries, explanations, comparisons, and durable information.

Goal modes influence prioritization, not the underlying evidence. They do not guarantee reach, engagement, or virality.

Scores and confidence

Scores are structured editorial judgments used to compare and prioritize opportunities. They are not probabilities of success or predictions of virality.

Confidence describes the quality of the available evidence, not the likelihood that a clip will perform well.

When only a transcript is available, visual potential is evidence-limited. The agent should not claim to have observed facial expressions, gameplay events, on-screen text, or camera framing without actually inspecting the video.

Opportunity coverage and quality controls

The output distinguishes primary recommendations, alternatives, low-priority candidates, and rejected or NO-CLIP moments.

Where supported by the available analysis, Clip Intelligence reports:

  • Source intervals analyzed and any known gaps.
  • Candidate counts, duplicate clusters, and retained opportunities.
  • The opportunity types found in the source.
  • Reasons why some moments were not prioritized.
  • Timestamp, context, and evidence limitations.

The goal is to preserve useful opportunities without presenting routine filler as valuable content. Lower-priority moments can still be useful for creators with different editing goals.

“All opportunities” means plausible, distinct, source-supported moments found within the portions actually analyzed. It is not a guarantee that every possible moment will be identified.

What you can provide

For the most reliable analysis, provide a timestamped transcript. You may also provide relevant context, such as:

  • Content type or niche.
  • Target platform.
  • Audience and creator goal.
  • Preferred clip duration.
  • Language or caption preferences.

Video, audio, or links can be used only when the host runtime provides authorized access and the tools needed to inspect the source. A link alone does not guarantee that its content can be accessed.

If a source is only partially available, the analysis should disclose the limitation instead of claiming full coverage.

Who it's for

  • Streamers looking for clips from gameplay sessions and livestreams.
  • YouTubers repurposing long-form videos into short-form content.
  • Podcasters identifying memorable statements, discussions, and stories.
  • Creators who want a broader inventory of editing opportunities rather than only a short list of highlights.

Important limitations

Clip Intelligence supports opportunity discovery, editorial evaluation, and editing preparation. It does not guarantee virality, engagement, or audience growth. It does not automatically download inaccessible videos, bypass platform restrictions, or render final clips unless the host platform provides the necessary tools and those capabilities are actually available.

Make more of every recording by finding, evaluating, and organizing the moments worth sharing.
