What it does
You give it three things: product dimensions, approximate weight (or material, if you know it), and what the box is for (retail shelf, shipping, or a gift/premium unboxing). It handles the rest:
- Recommends the right paperboard/cardboard grade for the product's weight
- Calculates fold tolerances and crease offsets based on material thickness
- Picks the right box style for the use case
- Generates the flat dieline in SVG, DXF, and PDF — cut lines and crease lines on separate layers, ready to send straight to a die-cutter or laser cutter

Why it's not just a generic AI drawing
Every dimension in the output comes from a deterministic calculation script, not from the model guessing proportions. Fold allowances, glue flap widths, and minimum cut-to-crease distances follow standard packaging engineering formulas — the same math a structural packaging designer would use. That means consistent, repeatable output every time, not a different result on every run.
Before production
Like any preliminary dieline, validate physical tolerances with your die-cutter before running a full production batch — machine-specific tolerances (blade type, creasing wheel) can vary slightly from the standard formulas used here.
