MorphDeck — Premium PPTX Animations
Motion Decks
Turns static PowerPoint decks into presentations that actually move — real Morph transitions, staggered eased entrance animations, and a brand-matched theme — or builds one from scratch from your brand colors.
Most "animated" PowerPoint templates fake it: the transition is applied but the shapes were never named to match, so PowerPoint silently falls back to a plain crossfade. This agent gets the whole chain right — brand extraction, shape naming, motion timing, and file durability — by editing the underlying OOXML directly, since neither python-pptx nor pptxgenjs can write transitions or animations at all.
What it does
- Adds Morph transitions to an existing
.pptx— 1500 ms,byObject, with a proper crossfade fallback for older clients - Fixes shape naming so Morph actually pairs the right elements instead of guessing (the
!!forced-match technique) - Adds staggered entrance builds — composite fade + move + scale, fully eased, so slides feel expensive instead of like the default PowerPoint animation pane
- Extracts your brand from an existing deck, logo, or website and writes it into the theme (not hardcoded on shapes), so the deck stays re-skinnable
- Builds new decks from scratch with real slide layouts, a derived color system, and motion designed in from the start
- Hardens the file — embeds-ready fonts, downsamples oversized images, confirms the theme isn't still shipping Microsoft's stock palette
Sample input → output
Input: "make my deck feel expensive with smooth transitions, our brand color is #1DB954"
Output: A .pptx with Morph transitions on slides 2+, shape names paired for clean motion, the brand green written into the theme, and a staggered entrance build on the opener — while every slide's original design renders pixel-identical to the source.
Input: "I paid for this template and nothing animates when I present it"
Output: A diagnosis (zero <p:transition> elements found — not a user error) plus a fixed file with real Morph applied and shapes renamed to pair correctly.
Use cases
- Fixing a "morph template" that doesn't actually morph
- Turning an investor deck, pitch deck, or keynote into something that feels premium on stage
- Applying a company's brand system to a deck consistently, with colors that live in the theme instead of hardcoded on every shape
- QA on inherited decks — surfacing unembedded fonts, oversized images, and stock-palette themes before a presentation ships
FAQs
Does this work in Google Slides or Keynote?
No — PowerPoint Morph is a PowerPoint-only feature (2019+ or Microsoft 365). The agent always adds a fade fallback so the deck still degrades gracefully elsewhere, but the motion itself only plays in PowerPoint.
Will it change my existing slide design?
No. Motion is added as a layer on top of the existing slides — text, layout, and imagery are left untouched. Verified pixel-identical on every slide in QA.
What if I don't have brand colors yet?
It can extract a palette from an existing deck, a logo file, or your website, or you can just tell it a hex code and it derives a full working palette from there.
