Puzzle books where every answer is checked
Give your agent the word lists and how many puzzles you want. It generates the puzzles, verifies each one, lays out the book with solutions, and checks the PDF against KDP's rules.
## Puzzles
- Word search: easy (across and down), medium (+ diagonals), hard (all 8 directions, backwards too). Each word is confirmed to appear exactly once; words hidden inside other words are refused; random filler letters are screened for unwanted words
- Sudoku: easy, medium, hard. A solver confirms exactly one solution; easy and medium are solvable with singles only
- Mazes: easy to hard. Perfect mazes (one path between any two points), with the start-to-finish path checked and drawn in the solutions
The book
- Title page, "How to play" page (or your own text), puzzles, a solutions section
- Large-print mode: bigger letters and cells, one sudoku per page
- 1, 2 or 4 sudoku per page; 4-6 solutions per page
- KDP paperback interior for any of the 16 trims, with the gutter for the final page count, an even page count, embedded fonts and a PDF pre-flight check, plus spine width, cover size, a cover guide image and a KDP checklist
- Or Letter/A4 printables for Etsy, classrooms and activity packs
- Same seed, same book; new seed, new puzzles
Works with
Python 3.8+ with pip install reportlab pypdf pillow pypdfium2. Windows, macOS, Linux. No API key, no account, no internet.
Good to know
- KDP lists puzzle books as not low-content: the checklist tells you to leave that box unticked.
- If an AI writes your word lists or titles, that is AI-generated text for KDP's question; the checklist reminds you.
- No crosswords, logic grids or cryptograms. It does not upload or publish.
